a) Click the Scan Button and wait for the scan to finish,. (already done if Adwcleaner is left pending) b) Make sure all of the items under each TAB are to be ticked. Except the entries for (Remove the tick beside the entries) Not to Delete the items Below
Key Found : HKLM\SOFTWARE\Google\Chrome\Extensions\mkfokfffehpeedafpekjeddnmnjhmcmk
Key Found : [x64] HKLM\SOFTWARE\Google\Chrome\Extensions\mkfokfffehpeedafpekjeddnmnjhmcmk (Norton )
You actually only have 2 entries left in the list to removec) Click the Clean Button and Adwcleaner will process all the items ticked / checked and then may ask for the system to be restarted.d) It should create a new log afterwards (with S0 in the name). Here is a Screenshot example Quads

OK ran AdwCleaner. I do understand your instruction, but was worried about deleting some of the other "official" looking registry keys.
I deleted the ones that looked like obvious malware - but can you take a look at this log file and tell me if I should delete the WINDOWS and CLASSES registry keys ?
Thanks again for all your help.

Adwcleaner will delete the ones still left ticked that is that, you do not understand the registry and the thousands of different key strings and yet you decided to do different than I asked by picking and choosing. Even though you do not understand it all.
I am not looking at the log again I have already done so.
So because of what you have done by picking and choosing this system is finished to your satisfaction and you can keep all the files and keys that are still there.
