I can't get rid of this thing to save my life. I've tried malware bytes, spybot, windows defender, hitman pro.. my antivirus is Eset. Nothing seems to detect it. I can't find it in the list of programs to uninstall and I can't find any plugin that has it (I use FireFox). If anyone could give me a hand I'd be super grateful.
Ah good lord, I found it. It was hiding in a plugin called save from net. addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/savefromnet-helperI hope this might help someone else. Nothing could detect it because I allowed the stupid plugin to run in the first place and it hid in there. |
