mbar-log-2017-02-23 10-34-26.txt (21.54 KB) mbar-log-2017-02-23 11-07-49.txt (2.11 KB) wikisend.com/download/125546/Fixlog.txtwikisend.com/download/243084/system-log.txtfrst64 generated the fixlog and asked for a reboot, during startup I got a windows cannot open file message and a scrip error message. I included a screen shot so you could take a look at it. I dis-reguarded these messages because I thought it might have something to do with the scrip you provided. I had to disable Norton auto protect to download malware bytes. The first run of the root kit found 88 infections. after reboot the second run came up clean. I think you got it. Thanks for the help. the post would only let me do 3 attachments so I attached the wikisend link for the fix log and mbar system log. Please let me know if there are any other steps I need to preform after you have a chance to review the attachments. Thanks again for the help
