Please check to see if there is a log in C:\_OTL\MovedFiles . The log file will look like just date and time numbers and have a .log extension. Please paste that if there is one. Thanks.

There's a directory named with numbers, but no .log file.

Please do a new scan with OTL.
Right click on OTL and select "Run as Administrator..."; change the File Age to 90 days and then click SCAN.
Please attach or post the OTL log that is made (it should open in Notepad when the scan is finished).
Thanks.

So, a turn for the worse...I was attempting to login here and upload the OTL log when my system crashed. When I attempted to log back in to Windows, I was told my password was invalid. Thinking I could have been hacked in the time my Norton was off (unlikely, I know), I went to change it...I can access other Microsoft accounts, but Windows is still not accepting a password...

OK
I think there are 2 ways to reset the Password for an account to be able to get back in.
a) Using the Account with Administrator Rights (the Boss) to go in though the Control Panel and change the affected account's settings
"Control Panel\User Accounts and Family Safety\User Accounts\Manage Accounts"
b) Using the Account with Administrator Rights (the Boss) to go in though the Control Panel and have Windows Create a Password Reset disc" and allows to USB Drive.
Maybe a hmmmmm just maybe use system Restore to go back to just before the use of OTL, but not to far back as to maybe place any malware back also.

Thanks Quads...however, I only have the one account -or- I'm not sure how to switch the login account to admin, so I'm not exactly sure how to accomplish that...and unfortunately, no restore points either...

Ok, I'm back in but not logged into my original account...will that make a difference? If not, what's the next step...run OTL again?
