I "enabled" downloads in Tools, Internet Options, then custom level in security, I disabled SONAR protection, but Norton is still blocking FRST64.exe & saying it is not safe! I tried again after that first block & disabled firewall but still got same message. There are several Sonar settings, Network Drive Protection is still ON, as well as Sonar advanced mode is set to Automatic, Do these need to be changed as well...What about Antispyware.

I have N360 so it's a bit different than NIS.
I have an option called SONAR Protection with a slider. It is on but moving the slider to the Off position, then click Apply. That should do it. You can re-enable it after you have created the logs.
If you still have problems, right click the Tray icon and choose Disable Anti-virus Auto-Protect.

We're getting there but it isn't quite right.
Running from C:\Users\Wendy\Downloads . It needs to be run from your Desktop.
Please delete those logs.
Go to your Download folder and right click on FRST.exe, choose Cut, go to your Desktop and right click on it, choose paste.
Now run the scan again.
Thanks.

I did have a little difficulty downloading that scan tool, I wasn't given an option to save anywhere, the only choice was run. I will turn everything AV & Sonar off again & enable downloads & try that link again then
