Quads, when I hit run on Eset Online Scanner, I got a box saying something about my active x controls not allowing it, so I changed some prompts in Tools, under custom level on Security to prompt me for active x stuff--but now when I go back to Run Eset Online Scanner, I get a box at the bottom saying This website wants to install the following add-on: 'OnlineScanner.cab' from ESET,spol. s r.o.'. Since I don't see that prompt in your instructions, I don't feel comfortable clicking Install--is this okay?

It is in IE the Online Popup blocker / ActiveX you have to place the web address into the Popup blocker to allow or use Firefox / Chrome

I have the scan running now because I read a help screen on the Eset Online Scanner page which showed an image of the warning I had gotten & so I was able to start it----
I'm only 24% through the scan-- but I am keep getting warnings from Norton that the Trojan poweliks!gm threat is active again & it is quarantining all of the syswow64 temp.xbad files. It keeps wanting me to restart! What do I need to do? Should I let it keep quarantining them until the scan is finished???
Norton states it quarantined 81 threats & has removed the threat...but I'm fairly certain you don't want me to restart during this ESET scan-- Correct??
(I will need some instruction in setting my custom level security settings back up after this scan is complete as well. Specifically on the active X section because I had to change some to -enable- to allow the scan. I am stressed right now because my only niece is in labor right now & I am in the middle of all of that hoopla right now too, so I'm sorry if I sound crazy!)

My scan is already into its 7th hour & has been 'stuck' on 31% for over 6 hrs of it...It IS still scanning files & the scanned number count is currently 676,000---so I'm not worried. This is just an fyi....make that 686,000 now!

The percentage jumps (does not show 1% at a time)

Thanks mate! I finally told Norton to stop reminding me to restart for the next 24 hrs so it wouldn't interrupt it when I head to bed!
